They're up now mate. Todays racing is now underway! Limited to 2 drivers per person as i now have 9 PSN peeps fighting for attention! Will rotate the choice of drivers for peeps with 4/5/6 slots/drones/clones/slaves/gophers/orphans.
Okay, im running remote races, and i see that alot of you only have 1 driver, or no driver at all. This is not good. If your not on my PSN, add me: Jostepop. If you only have 1 driver, get more
Also, it would seem that its complete random wr.t. who wins these remote races. I have seen lvl 3 drivers beat my lvl 23, WITH THE SAME CAR!
I spot the difference straight away, as the standard cars look quite a lot like GT4, and you can easily notice the lack of detail on the car, and that the curves are not as round as they should be due to lack of polygons. The differences are imo rather huge in some cases. For instance, the Veyron is really really fugly. Aspecially if you paint it white its very easy to see the low poly's.
That being said, there are varying quality between the used cars. The jaguar XFR or whatever the only new cool saloon car from jaguar is called, is a standard car, but has detail like a premium, except for interior. There are many other cars like this.

Oh its good alright. Some bad news also Lee, like Patsu had the other day, one of your drivers had a nasty accident when he veered off track and hit an Ice Cream van. Broke both arms, legs, blinded in both eyes. Should be fit again to race in a week or so though.

I just wanted to boot up GT5 to see how my drivers have leveled up after all this carnage and what they brought to the bank, when I was prompted by update 1.08 ... ! Hadn't heard anything about this update yet. Will now check what's new.
EDIT: oh, nothing much, just a fix for a glitch:
The latest GT5 update, v1.08, has just gone live in Europe and North America (it became available in Asia earlier today). According to Polyphony Digital, this small patch only fixes one issue that has become something of a hot-topic in our forums over the past few days. Known as the “SSR7 glitch” or the “online money glitch”, it allowed players to quickly accumulate a lot of money and A-Spec experience points -- check the video above to see how it was done.
EDIT: 2 million earned and level 26 B-Spec ... thanks guys!

I've used shared cars from friends to complete one or two A-Spec events (I needed to borrow a Toyota 7 to get gold in Historic racing cup).

No idea, I did a remote race from the office and didn't do a "save replay" so I can not find out :/
But it was a Tokyo special stage race, could be earthquake related......

I have been borrowing the X10 from a friend and used it for endurance races when I can. The 9h race, the car was 200 laps infront after 6.5h
Sorry I cant race your drivers guys.
I deleted the installation data to free space, and then updated to 1.08 again but the game has a very serious glitch whereas if you have the game installed and remove the data, you will get an insufficient free memory in HD" error and I have got more than a hundred of GBs free. I can only run the game if I am running the game on v1.00 .
And hence I cant have access to any of the online and new features anymore unless I delete my saved data and start from the beginning.
so whatever you do, DO NOT delete the installation! For such a game that needs dedication and relies on unlocking stuff this is a complete game breaker! I am not the only one who had this. Ther are very many that encounter this huge problem with the game and PD have to fix it NOW!!
