The stupidity around GFWL and GTA4 is that you must create and use a GWFL account in order to save your game. Stupidity. But I still bought and played it thanks to a super-cheap prior deal on GTA4.

Just letting everyone know.

And it's not like they store your saves on the GFWL servers or anything either. They just do it cause they like to stick things up your butt.

F1 2013 has a free weekend pass on Steam plus 75% off if someone is into racing games!!!

Rockstar weekend still going on on Steam. I got the GTA Complete Package which is all the GTA games between GTA3 and GTA4 plus the GTA4 Liberty City expansion. For ten dollars.

GTA4 requires GFWL which is fine by me but some people don't like that I think.
More awesome deals....

St. Patrick's day is today! And GoG.com wants to celebrate it with people and kick off a PC gaming sale.

The promotion is called Luck of the Irish, and it's money-saving doozy! You can save 90% off, and some games are ridiculously low priced -Unepic at 2$, same price for many others-.

IMPORTANT: Remember to use the Pick a Pot of Gold feature, which gives you a random game not included in the core list of the promotion for just $2. :smile2:

These are some of the games of the promotion, among many others:

Unepic
Deponia
Larry Leisure Suit : Reloaded (the legendary first game of Larry but with updated HD graphics and text)
Alan Wake
Dust: An Elysian Tail
Spelunky
Expeditions: Conquistador
Fez
etc etc

:cool::LOL::LOL: Ha ha.

You are hilarious. I am going to eat a gingerbread house, at your health.

Cyan, the Gaming Gods have spoken (via the usual burning shrubbery) and they have decided in their wisdom that you shall visit the Free Games List post and you shall rejoice.

Thanks Davros! Got a few games at GoG just following the link you shared.

Command and Conquer series and Elder Scrolls are not available anymore... Sigh... Those were some of the two games I was most interested in.

Most of the links don't work nowadays. Still... I managed to get a few jewels like Stargunner and Ultima IV -which I had but hadn't downloaded yet-. Overall, counting these two, I got 60 or so games at GoG.

May the Force be with you! Master Jedi, when it comes to Command and Conquer, it seems like the Rebel Alliance is hiding those games from the Galactic Empire.

Wish I could have them. But anyways, like Yoda the wise goes: "Try not...Do, or do not. There is no try."

Thanks Davros! Much appreciated. I finally managed to get Command and Conquer, all the classic versions thanks to your link. Haven't tried Renegade X, but it looks potentially promising.

Picked up Shogo for $3 @ Gog.com. mm...
I picked up The Longest Journey (the original from 1999, I really like the main character) today at GoG. No sales though -you get a discount if you buy both games of the Longest Journey series-, but just wantd to point that out.

I also added some links featuring good free games in the proper thread:
