New laptop advise

Looking for a new laptop to take with me when I deploy in the $1000 region.
Would like for it to have:
Wireless N built in
Web cam
4GB Ram
Good-Great graphics card

I was thinking about an Asus G50VT-X1 or X5 for $999.99 from Best Buy.

Any good recommendations or is this a good deal?
Better deals?

9800M GS looks G94 based so the desktop equivalent would be the 9600GT. Not bad for a $1K laptop.
