Image Quality and Framebuffer Speculations for WIP/alpha/beta/E3 games *Read the first post*

Mod : removed unnecessary pictues

Any idea about the resolution and the AA used?
Native 1080p. I'd say a fairly passive postAA, although I'm nothing like skilled in that analysis and could be well wrong! There's (nearly) no AA on a lot of edges, but the long sword edge is heavily AA'd.

Since they confirmed the game wasn't native 1080 yet, does this means that's a PC build?

The images are crispy, so it's either PC build (not that there should be a whole lot of differences considering) and/or they simply set the screenshot function to render to 1080p.

Shifty said he could be wrong.
Not on the res! That's a no brainer. I can't decipher the AA and I'm not going to try beyond my previous suggestion of a lightweight post AA.

For the record, I tend not to do pixel counting because I know my limits. But if it's an easy answer I can handle I'll help out (stick my boot in).

That's not screenshots, it's actually a uncompressed gameplay footage that appeared on Ms press site, so it's probably a PC build them...

On the fable legend screenshots the postAA is very clean & light, I like it. I know it's a PC build but they could still use it for the XB1 game.

And good news about The witcher 3, apparently the PS4 version is confirmed to be 1080p.

Anyone got the retail version of UFC on ps4 yet? Any reported 1080p improvement?
Stolen from Gaf, not sure which version it is but still looks 900p:(.

Wouldn't be that surprising given the short time between demo>retail.

That pic seems difficult to count from, at least for me. Need others.

Speaking of, where's our alleged Titanfall res patch :p ?

Looks no where near as crystal clear as this.

The UFC pic has that certain blurriness in the textures it's like been unscaled or something.

Any idea about the resolution for the PS4 version of Far Cry 4?
Gameplay and cinematics are supposed to run at different resolutions.

Gameplay is supposed to run at 1080p, as lead coder Michal Dorbot claims:

However the introduction video is supposed to run at 1008p, according to Digital Foundry:

Any truth to these claims?

Yeah, the video @ Gamersyde does seem 1080 height. Trying to look for width.

Thanks for the effort AlNets. Both 1080 or both 1008? Typo easily made :)

It was difficult to find the appropriate edge for height analysis in the intro vid, hence only the 1792 thing. *shrug*

Who knows, it's two different builds. The gameplay commentary video is pretty crisp at any rate, a bit of a funny temporal ghosting with slight motion.
