doesnt seem like its being scaled, mentioned in my other post would put both at1216x684

The screen size is adjustable in the main menu (thus black bars), so I don't know if the captures are going to be correct.

Both still show signs of scaling on top of the 1216x684 (quite possibly 1152 for true width), but it's hard to tell with the captures. They probably have added the selectable screen size so that overscan tv's can "regain" the resolution that would have been cut off. The zoom can go beyond "just scan" as well, so it makes it that much more dubious for capturing.


seems like 2xmsaa on 360, lots of dof makes most edges look less aliased
Both are using a post-AA filter.

also color artifacting on the blacks i thought the new dash didnt affect games only in dash video.

Probably just the wonky gamma "curve" on 360.
 
A bit too much compression, unfortunately. Some really heavy blur going on, don't think it's just from the upscale - maybe a post-AA? Also hard to find a decent edge (long enough).

I suspect the vertical res may be 585 (39/48 ratio). Possibly 1152 width (27/30). Kind of an odd setup, so I'm not 100% certain. :p
 
Yeah, it's 1280x720 for sure. (Edges in bottom right and top left of the image are actually better to examine btw :p)
