Image Quality and Framebuffer Speculations for WIP/alpha/beta/E3 games *Read the first post*

Tried just cause 2 demo ps3. Fps acceptable & the tearing absence cause some dips but nothing of dramatic; personal note: it seems the 2xAA be temporal, with the same smart trick used to konami in mgs4 to eliminate the blurry texture effect in motion. Not bad version I expected worsen (I haven't seen 360 version however) a part the low res shadows.
 
Thanks for those. hm... curious. In the fourth shot, there's no AA in the dark edges, but you get something like Quincunx against the sky. And with the second shot, it's even more picky. Maybe it's doing AA on only certain passes ala Gears :?: Maybe humus will clarify. :p
 
Certainly not a console resolution. Might be native + blur filter or a really crappy downscale.
