The nvidia future architecture thread (G100/GT300 and such)

So we can expect a few new highend cards of the GT200 generation (GT200b, GT206, GT212, etc) before we get a truly next-gen Nvidia card of the DX11/Direct3D11, Shader Model 5 generation, which I will still call 'NV60' to avoid confusion. The G80 being 'NV50' and GT200 being 'NV55' and anything like GT200b or GT2xx with more shaders, smaller process could still be concidered 'NV5x' IMO.

to avoid confusion? I would need a diagram to remember all that. just call things what they are called. in other words, GT200 should be called RV460, G80 should be called purple, and green should be called yellow. diagonal will be called backwards and socks will be called umbrellas. there will be no name for a sandwich, with it only hinted at in hushed whispers in dark corners of forgotten alleyways.

That picture doesn't make sense to me. No directed airflow, low air pressure (axial fan)... no way, this is going to deal with two GT200b thermally.
