Dont know if this forum is best, but anyone have suggestions for implementing scatter plots in a way that shows frequency. Somewhat like a 3-d histogram. The best I came up with so far in matlab is this.
That seems a silly way though when you could just change the color of the scatterplot to indicate frequency. I could write a program to do it, but it seems a pain and I am sure someone already knows how to do this easily.
it has like 40000 points so I don't want to use excel as it chokes.
