The 1999-2004 mercs where the worst cars from Mercedes ever build if we go by reliability. And yet their cars where more reliable than Alfa's. Since 2004 Merc retained about €3 billion yearly from earnings in order to improve reliability.
I doubt Alfa's are going to be better build than Mercs ever, unless Alfa becomes a car maker than only make a few hand build cars a year or unless Merc starts to screw things up again.

Handbuild doesnt equal reliability. Most hand build cars are exactly the oposite which isnt that suprising as most hand build cars are supercars so by nature they need more maintanance.
But yes mercs are probably more reliable, it was a bit of a joke. Though modern alfa's seem to do pretty good. But I also think its a matter of ''luck''. You always hear people having problems with brand X only to hear other people never having problems with brand X. My parents had 2 citroen BX. The first one never had any problems. Well, untill my dad crashed it on the sidewalk, after that the whole hydralic suspension system was fucked and the car became a nightmare but before that it was perfectly fine. After that they bought another one, a newer model, and that was constantly having problems.

LoL I think there are lots of people (me included) that will disagree with you on that.
that Suzuki Hayabusa concept looks pretty sick, I hope it makes it to the market for a reasonable price. We badly need more cheap rwd sports cars.
I disagree with him, but I think that suziki looks terrible. I really do, it looks like something a kid would make out of playdoh to me.
The Hayabusa concept was made many years ago. It uses some Suzuki motorcycle parts like the engine and single pipe exhaust and some Suzuki car parts. I would've bought one if they had put it into production and sold it at a reasonable price. The overall styling is great IMO although some of it looks unfinished. It weighed 550kg with 50/50 weight distribution and the 1.3L engine put out 175ps with a redline of near 10K rpm.
