Any VideoPlayback Program Can FastForward w/ Sound BESIDES WinMP?

Hi!

I'm just trying to find a video playback program that I can use to playback my DVD's and video files with, that can play them in fast forward (1.2x, 1.5x, 2.0x, etc.) WITH sound, so that, for example, I can watch videos of lectures in a shorter time than it would otherwise take.

The reason that I don't want to use WinMP is because it's very glitchy with some of my videos since I use ffshow filters, and also WinMP seems not to support some formats of video that my other programs (VLC, MPC, etc.) do play.

PS3 plays back at least DVD/BR movies at +50% with sound. Not sure abotu individual files tho.

Probably not the droids you were looking for, but hey.. I though tI'd just mention it.

I know quicktime player can play with sound while fast forwarding, I'm not sure how adjustable the speed is tho.

ok just checked the player I have (quicktime 7.3) will playback video with sound from 1/2 to 3x speed. I only tried with an MP4 so I can't be sure about other formats.
