Although a different format from stage6, the quality of the video is retained here.

You have the option to watch a good quality flash video of your uploaded file or you can download the original file in .avi format.
In my experience with using both stage6 and vimeo that if you use vimeo correctly the quality is almost identical to my eyes.
To see the HD flash video on vimeo at it's best here's what you do.
Upload the video (takes a bit)
When it's ready to view, click on it (duh).
Go to full screen.
Make sure scaling is turned OFF.
You will then see the video in it's native resolution and a quality level that's pretty darn close to what you upload.
Again, alternatively you can look in the bottom right hand corner of the screen and click on "Download .AVI" or something of that nature and get the exact file that you uploaded without any flash conversion.
