your playing at an incredibly starnge res unless you've resized the pics

i removed the black bars that's why it looks that way.. i wrote that at first post it seems it is left on previous page so you somehow missed that.. you can look the originals at gallery link anytime you like..

Is L.A Noire still FPS capped? When I first bought it, there was a 30 FPS cap, and it was really annoying.

It is, but you can remove the cap. People were saying that doing so would screw with the facial animations as they were somehow 'tied' into the 30fps cap, but that appears to be nonsense.

That being said, it also appears that the game doesn't necessarily run too far beyond 40 or 50fps with the cap removed on a very powerful system. I guess it serves a dual purpose of keeping everything in sync (don't consoles rely massively on timing and whatnot, a la Skyrim?) and hiding the less than stellar performance.

lol what armor set is that? Are you running some kind of dark mod as well?

Armor

Enb

My girlfriend says, that this armor provides no protection.
But somehow I don't think her problem is realism :p

The enb is what makes the difference in lighting.
from the Readme

Features

-> Overall realistic color.
-> Bokeh Depth of Field (also included 'non-Bokeh' version)
-> Performance, but still nice-looking SSAO.
-> Bright at daytime, dark at nighttime.

A few more :)

Can't play without torches!

It's quite dark, so I'm not sure how you see it on your monitor.

I tried the one you mentioned and it runs great. It's amazing how well my system handles Skyrim, they've really excelled at producing amazing visuals with low-end systems. The ENB is incredible realism, I'm loving the lighting model both inside and outside. Dungeons sure are different now! I've started a new character for this mod which I've been wanting to do anyway.
