I got it as well and was coming here to post or ask a question. Because then I don't even see the message in my pm! I merely got the mail as if I had a pm but there is none there.

Mine came from nematode.

Is this someone who has harvested Beyond 3D's email listing ??

I doubt it, when you get a PM you get auto-notified by e-mail. I bet some clever admin here went and deleted all the spam PMs, but after the software had already sent out an auto-notification.

I purged all the PMs that the spammer sent. Unfortunately I can't purge email notifications already sent (though sometimes I wish I could!)
