CW39's 360 peak was Halo obviously, and CW41's peak was PS3's drop to 399. What was released on Wii though?

Probably people seeing PS3 ads announcing price drop getting people out to the stores and then when they are there end up buying Wii instead (you know how some people think all consoles are Nintendo/Playstation that type of thing). Though apparently a few weeks ago the UK has been having Wii supply issues which accounts for the drop the few weeks beforehand (some people I know were theorizing the stock has been replenished resulting in the spike but apparently there is still stocking issues in the UK so not likely).

Supply issues seem to be the most likely reason - I'm seeing some online stores advertise that they now have the Wii in stock again. Maybe together with concern that the Wii might be hard to come by come this Holiday season.

Yes, but from the ground it seems more like a relaunch… so difficult to use this data for a prevision of November, December sales…
But Sony expect 500 000 PS3 for the end of Year, actually there at least around 300 000 PS3 in France, so they're expect 200 000 for the two last month of the end of year…

And Microsoft redo the 50€ rebate for Elite, Halo edition and Premium (also for many Packs) for the end of the year, so you have a 360 Premium (HDMI) with FM2 and VP for 300€ and 360 with COD4 for 334€…
I hope we can have some datas for the end of this year.

The only PAL country which has regular sales figures released is Australia, which get released quarterly by GfK. Monthly German figures occasionally get released, but none have for a while. Anyway, for those interested here are all the figures I have:

Sorry, I don't know how to edit my post. The UK PS3 LTD link is wrong. I arrived at PS3 LTD by adding the first 3 weeks sales together, and conservatively estimating 4th week sales of 8K. Chart-Track announced 55% of PS3 sales were in the first 4 weeks, which would put PS3 LTD around 400K at the end of September.

Uncharted hasn't shipped yet. It ships somewhen in December (8th I think).

DS broke the UK weekly hardware sales record last week according to Chart-Track: 191,000. The previous record was held by PSP, which sold 185,000 during the week it launched on September 1st 2005.
