Home PC Predictions 50 years ago :)

Hmmm... really torn about whether or not getting this system... It is a tad bigger than my original home computer, the Commodore 64, after all...

    What cellphone do you have?

I was strongly considering the Samsung a650. Unfortunately, in my neck of the woods, analog roaming is extremely important... something this and other Samsung phones don't support. The LG VX4400 is the front runner at this point in time. Not a top of the line, loaded with bells and whistles...

If you had the option of becoming a vampire, would you?

    1. Eternal damnation sucks. 2. Drinking blood sucks. 3. Living forever sucks, (when your family and friends finally pass away)

How many use Mozilla Firefox and whats your evaluation???

I was able to find out how to move all my buttons into one line on Firebird. Very, Very neat, and it gives the browser window the clean look that I'm looking for. Last night, I once played with the themes and changed it. To my surprise, this time my websites retained their web content...

Great!... yet another security flaw discovered in IE...

This behaviour is actually a normal behaviour by any application. The reason that IE "appears" to load faster, is because components of IE are loaded by your machine when you first turn Windows on or sign on to your computer. It simply runs hidden in the background at all times until you click...

Great!... yet another security flaw discovered in IE...

IE appears to display parts of the webpage as it downloads. Firefox appears to wait until the page is fully loaded before displaying it. I'm not certain if it is a preference by either browsers, or if a specific convention exists that one of these developers is ignoring. Speed-wise, I wasn't...

Great!... yet another security flaw discovered in IE...

As soon as Microsoft pushed out the suppose fix for the Active X flaw last week, a Swedish firm has found yet another flaw with a different component of Active X that a malicious programmer can use to download a routing via Internet Explorer. Potentially the same issue... the routing would...

How many use Mozilla Firefox and whats your evaluation???

I do miss being able to resize or auto-hide the Menu Toolbar. I like to see my web pages without having the toolbars hogging a tenth of the space.

How many use Mozilla Firefox and whats your evaluation???

Day three of testing. Browsing stability is still pretty good, but I'm still seeing the Menu Bar freezing when I go from regular to full screen window and back. On a side note, I haven't missed IE very much, though some programs keep ask for it in order to download updates... Active X strikes...

How many use Mozilla Firefox and whats your evaluation???

May be fixed with 1.0. Its supposed to be exclusively to fix bugs and provide more stability. Very little, if any, new stuff is supposed to be incorporated into it. Day two of testing. Still seeing, basically, the same issues. But not a bad experience, overall. Looking forward to...
