Most of those complaining on such things aren't missing out because of resolution and framerate. It's just good old fashioned console wars hyperbole and misrepresentation.

The most useful commands are the most obvious. For turning it on, launching content/apps, stop/pause/play, searching for content... Those should stick because they'll beat the controller much of the time. "Show my stuff" too. "Xbox pause/play" certainly beat powering up controller up to press...

Yep. Some of the difference there is magnified with the washed out video capture. The sun appears to be at a different position.

Making a selection by tapping is a massive improvement over holding still for a moment. I hope they got that to work well. :smile: The zoom gesture seems sensible too.

I said "Xbox on" to myself as I walked in, before gathering up the remotes and switching everything on individually. That's one feature I'll appretiate.

Gameplay looked solid enough in the gamespot stream. I'd say it's definitly the prettiest game so far, or at least looks like it's doing the most next-gen stuff/effects we haven't seen on console before.

200 cars is more than I'd ever use. If it's a good game it should get good reviews, with the number of cars noted. I was happy enough with 3 in SEGA Rally.

Light does smear across like that for some, particularly when squinting. To create your own Forza 5 streaks, just squint a bit toward the top of a monitor/TV and then wave a hand in front of it. Never seen that aperture blade shaped lens flare though.

If a stranger can still understand what someone's saying when they're not saying it right, then there's enough there to figure it out. Keep trying computers. Edit: Xbox One is a Slice of the Future. RollingStone console review, they love the all-in-one stuff. Get stuff wrong.

The 360 voice recognition worked fine for me 'till I moved it a forgot to recalibrate. X1 should be loads better than that. 360 Kinect works just as well if I speak at a normal level. NW England (Cheshire) accent.

I think they're also having problems getting the games out to reviewers. Some not being able to try multiplayer/get the updates yet. Forza 5 should review well enough, that's also embargoed.

It certainly looks the part. If it's not the best launch title that won't down to lack of production values.

Not the same as just having lower resolution textures for car tops in-game. Just a little more AF could be memory bandwidth limited? It is a 60fps game.
