This may be the totally wrong place to ask this, but can you stream Amazon Unbox content to a PS3? I know you can (sort of--hugely annoying to a consumer since you don't have a clue what will stream and what won't) with an Xbox360.

So true. Hell, I pay for Live and I don't really play games anymore. I don't really resent it (although I might when they automatically whack my CC and hit me for another year--I need to look into this). I pay 2 bucks to watch a TV episode on Live (drop it to 1 you morons--oh wait that includes me).

I think MS has no incentive to drop the price until they get their manufacturing issues sorted out. They are competing with Sony here not Nintendo (which is to say I don't think a price drop on MS's part is going to do a hell of a lot wrt Nintendo's market share whereas it might eat into...

I think 1.2 is probably where it is at but that is sheer speculation. I think those are good numbers considering how much competition there was this christmas. 1.5 would mean crazy celebrations for MicroSoft. 1.0 is pretty much bad news.

Notwithstanding the PR blah blah, I'm excited with what they are doing. I can't abide advertisements in my tv shows so I ditched cable tv and download content from xbox live. I'm pleased that they are getting more providers. They need to do better but I'm happy to get my tv a la carte at 2 bucks...

I liked KOTOR and the first 2/3 of KOTOR 2 better than ME but I played them on PC so that might be skewing my feelings. ME is still good and the gameplay is very similar to KOTOR.

I think the Xbox360 Dashboard is fine considering it was designed for a controller interface. The one thing I wish I could do would be set the screen saver as black. Likewise the music player screen.

I think it will close the gap at 400 unless Microsoft does something. I agree that Microsoft will sell more units november/december. Sony's best case is probably 3/4 Microsoft and worst is 1/2.
