    DDR and DDR

Is there any difference between local video RAM DDR and system DDR RAM ? There must be a difference (besides BGA package), but I can't find an article. I checked Lost circuits but they are talking about system DDR only.

    Source Alpha and destination Alpha?

I was wondering what will happen since new GPU's will use 10bit for the RGB, wich means 2bits are left for alpha. Is RGBA not important for modern games? If i quote Anandtech:

    Source Alpha and destination Alpha?

What is the difference (please keep it simple) between those two methods. And wich is used in modern games.

    FSAA articles/reports

Try the whitepapers from nVidia, 3dlabs and ATI. Most of the articles are refering to those pages since lot's of usefull information is provided by those companies. I remember a very large and deep article written by fullon3D but the site has moved. Also a search on google will give you a good...

    ATI Radeon 8500 XT......

I really don't know, i just made a copy of the Club 3D PR book. Perhaps they made some typing errors, but they have lot's of those books and it was ment for resellers only.

    KYRO enhanced T&L

Reading most of the reactions, The Kyro 2 SE is an overclocked Kyro 2. When you already owned a Kyro 2, doing a driver update makes the card using EnT&L ?

    ATI Radeon 8500 XT......

Also the Club 3D 7000 progam felt in my hands, but nothing new as far as i know. Im not following the 7000 line of ATI.

    ATI Radeon 8500 XT......

Sebastian, That's not what i would call a rumour :) It's a Reseller paper.. An original document.

NV cuts the GF4MX transistor count, how much?

yes i figured out that has to be less then 30M to produce a relative cheap processor. This means the count is cut in half. Looking at the space the nFiniteFX engine takes, it has to be a lot less, also removing 2 pixel pipes and a stripped LMA-2 is saving transistors. Probably the decrease of...

NV cuts the GF4MX transistor count, how much?

Yes I know !!!!! But that is not the question. I only want to know the transistor count..... please...

NV cuts the GF4MX transistor count, how much?

I know it is not the same as the GF4Ti. (missing infinteFX, stripped LMA-2) That's why i'm interested in the transistor count of that chip.

NV cuts the GF4MX transistor count, how much?

The GF3 has 57M and the GF4Ti 63M. How many transistors are used for the GF4MX? I'm intersted, since it looks like the transistor cut is the main reason for producing cheaper processors.
