    NVIDIA GF100 & Friends speculation

But that's power draw measured at the AC source, so losses/efficiency/thermal variance of the rest of the system has to be factored into that reading.

Uh, you said Nvidia lies, then said they never lie. No matter, your posts are becoming more and more bizarre and convoluted from what I've seen. And yes Fermi is horribly late, it looks more and more likely that actual supply will be late April if not later. It would not be so bad if AMD...

    Larrabee delayed to 2011 ?

Good point(s). So then the conclusion is, Larrabee will be a huge success as an IGP part. Okay not really.

    Larrabee delayed to 2011 ?

I'm not sure I buy the notion that Larrabee consumer version was canceled because of lack of performance. Since when did that stop Intel from selling boatloads of GPUs? I believe that if Larrabee worked and had even pathetic performance compared to its contemporary competition, Intel would be...

Alien Skin Blowup (PS plugin) plus some hand tweaking. Great plugin if you have a large number of images that need to be upsized. I highly doubt people are going to forget about Fermi and stop talking about it.

Fair enough. My point was Intel can waffle along with Larrabee for at least another year and not be financially affected by it. Nvidia not so much with Fermi. It looks to be hardly on the table at all. So assuming it is dangling at the edge, pretty sloppy testing going on. I would never have a...

    NVIDIA Fermi: Architecture discussion

I put my tinfoil hat on and looked closely at the card and motherboard. If I didn't know better, I'd say someone photoshopped the whole thing in front of a monitor. But that's crazy talk I suppose. Ugh, Facebook and now Twitter. This goes for any corporation, use your own site for god sake not...

    NVIDIA Fermi: Architecture discussion

Possible. I do want to know why the motherboard seems to be resting on nothing, just looks strange to me. A nice clear image would be nice, but that would be too simple I guess, better to post low quality images and have people speculate.

Intel never paper launched Larrabee, where did you get that idea? They showed off wafers, a few demos, talked about the tech etc. but nothing even remotely considered a launch. I'm sure when Intel is ready to make Larrabee based products available, they'll issue a release with expected launch...

BTW, where is the CPU HSF behind the "Fermi" card? Must be a pretty low profile unit to be hidden completely by the graphics card. Also, what is the motherboard sitting on? Seems to be floating in mid air, or hanging over the edge of something. And what is that red smear under the floppy...

Has anyone stated otherwise? I don't think Nvidia or ATI are being held to a higher standard. Imagine Intel posting blurry pics on Facebook, or showing hacked up fake products and passing them off as the real deal. You don't think people would have a field day with that?

    NVIDIA Fermi: Architecture discussion

There is a huge difference between Intel showing Larrabee and talking about it months or even years in advance, vs Nvidia talking about Fermi. Larrabee is not Intel's core business. And if Larrabee is never released, or never makes any noise in the marketplace, at least in the mid term Intel...

I don't see that. I put up an enhanced image (as good as it gets probably) but can't see enough detail. http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/6964/fermifacebook.png

    NVIDIA Fermi: Architecture discussion

If Nvidia really wanted to release a nice teaser pic, why this? A very low resolution image on Facebook? That's the best they can do? On a test bench with a mess of wires, the monitor image cut off, need I go on? Why not take a proper photo? To me it looks beyond amateurish, bordering on...

That's a can-O-worms right there. I don't know, maybe any "hardware" that can do DX11 through partial software only emulation could be certified as DX11 capable? The lines blur the further the GPU moves to a general purpose processor.
