    The shader horsepower in this thing can't be much different than the twins, otherwise we would see all these direct ports from the twins running at higher resolution and/or faster frame rate. So far, we have none of that. That can't be purely due to immature tools or whatever else you can blame...

    It's your lucky day! Your wish has already come true. I was playing 4 player coop (drop in, drop out) on Live yesterday, and the game becomes bullet bukakke buffet pretty damn quickly! :D

    No kidding! Those pixelly cardboard "people" stick out like lone neon sign at midnight! X_x And these guys had like 8 months from the completion of the 360 version to port the game over to PS3, with at least 6 months on final dev kits. This is totally mind boggling to me. And inexcusable.

For 360 and PS3, this should be easy enough since we already know Xenos' setup rate, and some PS3 devs have dropped clues to RSX's setup rate (1 triangle every 2 cycles).     Thank goodness someone finally peeked under the heat spreader, but now I'm more confused then ever. The RAM is on a seperate die, but in the same package. Why? Why go through the troble if you can't use it like 360's EDRAM? Isn't it just more costly without having any performance gains...

    It's a DVI-I connector on the Cinema Display correct? I'd think a DVI <-> VGA adopter would work.

    A ha. Well whoever compiled it, it's got tons of errors. If you find a couple of errors, then you gotta ask is the rest of the info that you're not sure about reliable as well... It does the whole point of the thing a big disservice.

    I know I'm gonna get reamed for this (but I'm used to it :D) but couldn't it be possible that some parts of RSX is for aiding so called "software BC" that the later iterations of PS3 is going to employ without the EE+GS on the mobo and that's part of the reason RSX is so big to the PC equivilent...
