I don't think so, Ultima 9 has been designed to run awfully slow on every system.

Truform RTCW screenshots would be great, I've not seen any so far, some people claim Truform does not work in RTCW at all!

I've seen it on a Radeon 8500 and it does not work very well, the lighting/shadow effects are missing, the Readme states that the demo works only on GF3.

Truform would bring nothing with such a polygon count.

Pixel Shader 1.4 is not required for DX 8.1 compliance.

Radeon 8500 cannot do aniso + trilinear, but from your posts I indeed believe you love your card :wink:

There are 2 mystery modes, one 9-tap Quincunx and 1 MS + SS, 4XS is the MS + SS mode!

I think it is the so called mystery mode (MS + SS combined), I don't know the exact registry setting, but you can set it with NVMax on every GF3.

This is nothing new, this mode has been available for GF3 as registry setting for months.

You should get 300/600 with the normal 8500, but the OEM's are barely overclockable, most don't reach 275/550.
