    It will translate into gameplay at no additional cost. These procedural tools (more in the near future) created in order to eliminate that transition.

    Hellblade 2 will be the flagship for It in terms of visual fidelity. Much of what you seen there was inside unreal editor. As for this project, I suspect the space sequence is rendered in real-time, the rest is a mix (Arnold, Vray etc).

    Excellent job by the team. The attention to detail is on par with the expansion and the results are quite impressive.

    RT is vital and inevitable step in real-time rendering. It will make the difference once GI, shadows and caustics will be implemented in addition to reflections, even for the best current PBR examples (The order 1886) and Photogrammetry in the near future (hellblade 2).

    Art direction wise, no. It is still the best example of PBR material combined with Scans. VFX wise, DS is a step up.

    There is quite a task ahead for the team. Nothing which can't be fixed though. Animations and face scans are a hit and miss, so as the commentary. The overall presentation is decent for first test the water regarding "next gen" visuals.

    I don't recall another example of a scale to density ratio being displayed in video game history. This is almost a perfect way to farewell this current cycle while transitioning into the next. Good stuff by CDPR.
