Launched at the same price. Failed to produce any notable first party hits. Failed to demonstrate a notable technical win to justify the value for multi platform games. Both happening in a region that’s a historically friendly territory for Sony. Not shocked at all tbh.
It's another software with no direction, clear roadmap or concept. Like the GoG client, it's there because i need to use it to download the game on the platform for gamepass. When my gamepass lapses, it'll be gone.
Just because you have a PC doesn’t mean you’re technically inclined. Also connecting PC’s to a TV just isn’t a thing for most people.
As long as consoles continue to offer a stress free, plug n play, living room experience, they’ll do well.
Oh how I wish that was the case and it’s the sole reason I made this thread in the first place. Well done hdr is a massive improvement to image quality at no cost.
As oled tech starts to dominate the high end monitor space, there will hopefully be more community pressure for devs to step up in...
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/software/nvidia-app/ nvidia has come to my rescue with RTX HDR.
Been testing it and it's very good. Going forward, I'll just turn off in-game HDR and use this. Good riddance to every dev's nonsense idea of HDR should be.
