Can anyone recommend a manufacturer that makes pretty quiet PCs for this sort of price? I'm finding it surprisingly hard to get reviews on good, silent/quiet PC gaming rigs.
I was looking at Mesh because their XGS cases are apparently well treated to avoid resonance and transmitting...
I wonder whether someone should make a SD game on next gen consoles and spend those resources elsewhere on the engine. No HD game looks as realistic as SD News at Ten.
The end of that always reminds me of George Michael's Star Wars tape in Arrested Development. Cringeworthy.
It needed a film filter there. I wonder if that would still be necessary (in which case you'd expect it to come with the camera/the wand. Still, a couple of LEDs on a pair of glasses is a...
Yup, he's not explained the PSmote's advantage very accurately at all. Ironic really.
Interesting some of the examples given in the interview of uses for the light. They mention using it as muzzle flare; that kind of implies some on/off lighting doesn't it? Besides the epilepsy risk there...
Yup. My last post on that still applies though. If you have 1:1 data going into the system, what you do with that (e.g. filtering out the tinier involuntary movements to avoid jitteriness, decreasing the amount of physical movement required to point from bottom left to top right etc) is still...
I'm sure if he was sitting on a sofa he'd be able to demonstrate in a less animated way
Things like that are down to the software to deal with the controller input, shirley? If it is truly 1:1 with such precision (as was demonstrably the case), it's still up to the software how they want...
Sony's demos did demonstrate the technical abilities of the PSMC quite concisely and unambiguously. They showed tech clearly working and with nothing (besides form factor) really left wanting. It is also easily relatable to tech already in the market and shown to be working. Nothing that was...
Something that has been dug up elsewhere..
Head tracking without IR glasses
And according to Joystiq the Eyepet trailer consists of genuine gameplay, and is not pre-rendered (as I had assumed given the quality of animation).

Most of the demoed applications, the ones that are genuine and not staged, are rather primitive compared to the grand concept of Milo, which is miles (arf) away from being anything like the trailer. Talking to a boy who just nods blankly or swinging your arms around like Godzilla would be rather...
I've always thought that it could be used to point in a crude way, but would be more effective in a situation where you wave your hand in the right position. In that sense it could be used in a menu (such as the dashboard), but not for anything that is time critical or requires anything like the...
