There's a solution. Get an "off the shelf" 8XXX, with a few more Tflops, connect to the APU, do a show on 21st with some demos, and pray that it can work and mass produced under 300W until the end of the year.

I've seen that, but it's not that simple. It will work a little bit like the spin off from AMD, except that it's Apple that will buy the chipset division and also they agree to financialy support for nVidia, including chip design. Maybe a future nvidia with x86 instructions.
