    NVIDIA's UltraShadow in Doom3

I thought I'd point out that an unnamed NVIDIA employee posted in our comments about UltraShadow II and Doom 3: http://3dgpu.com/archives/2004/08/20/how-ultrashadow-ii-affects-doom-3/

    Giants: Citizen Kabuto ROCKS!

The first couple of weeks after release it was unstable, thanks to the publisher forcing the game out the door and pissing off the developer in the process. Fortunately Planet Moon was able to get the game rock stable after the second patch.

    Giants: Citizen Kabuto ROCKS!

I agree, Giants is a phenomenal game. I can't count the number of times I've played it through. To me it's the ultimate definition of what a game should be; gorgeous visuals, fantastic gameplay, great sound and music, excellent multiplay, and humorous cutscenes. I'm still waiting for a game...

    Aquamark3 Preview at 3DGPU

I know the rolleye wasn't directed at me, just thought I'd explain what's on my plate here. Good call on asking my contact at Massive about the lowered image quality, I'll do just that (and ask NVIDIA for kicks to see what they say too). eBay may have a flood of auctions up on those 5900U's...

    Aquamark3 Preview at 3DGPU

I haven't been able to really do an in-depth analysis of the Detonator 50 as much as I'd like. Between juggling a review of a 5600 Ultra and getting this preview out on AquaMark 3, Real Lifeâ„¢, and doing the graphic card shuffle more times than I'd care to admit, I haven't had much time to...

Inquirer Gossip:- NV35 supports PS 3

Those sources are called company fanatics that post rumors in forums, and Inquirer takes the information and make it sound like they got it from a "secret source". I laugh when I read stuff like this. The Inquirer pulls more information out of their arse than from real sources.

So much for Nvidia's internal guidelines

I don't know how I can make it sound like it's not the company's fault. As far as I know, the company writes the drivers, not a 3rd party. If it's the driver's fault, it's the company that wrote it to blame. Not sure what you're getting at here. The ultimate judge lies in the collective...

So much for Nvidia's internal guidelines

I agree, there's nothing wrong with synthetic benchmarks, but unfortunately there are something wrong with the drivers we use for those synthetic benchmarks. This is essentially a way for us to show these companies that we're not going to let them get that edge over the competition through...

    New [H] editorial...

Visiontek, BFG, & MSI do not equal NVIDIA. Monetarily tied? How can money be tied to anything? So if the money came from Point A and came from Point B and Point B got it from Point C, then that must mean the money is tied to A, B, and C? You guys come up with some really silly stuff to...

It was only a matter of time

If a PR representative can affect your morning, then maybe it's time to visit the beach and get some sun. ;)

    New [H] editorial...

NVIDIA told us these drivers would be available yesterday. Of course it hasn't been posted, due to either a) waiting for WHQL certification from Microsoft or b) fixing the "bug" causing filtering issues in UT2003 due to the HardOCP editorial causing a storm. FWIW, I'm reviewing a BFG 5600...

    New [H] editorial...

It would be better, but unfortunately, for us to get information from NVIDIA, we have to sign a NDA and only release the information when they tell us to. For example, NVIDIA was supposed to release new drivers yesterday, to which we had access to for over a week. These drivers have release...

    New [H] editorial...

I don't care about the past, I live for the present and the future. I don't live in the past. What Kyle does in the past doesn't mean anything as to what he does now or in the future. This isn't entirely about Kyle, but about gaming and the companies that brings us products for PC gaming...

    Driverheaven.net interview Nvidia's Derek Perez

I find it amusing he didn't answer the question asking him if he enjoys working with NVIDIA. :o

    New [H] editorial...

I find it even more disturbing that you guys are so intent on bashing Kyle for making a stand on the issue and at least making a difference for the people out there who actually play games on the PC (yes, there are people who actually do that *gasp!*) At least there are people like Dave...
