thanks, from the info most you guys are telling me, your avg next gen console should have games that display an avg of 100 million polygons a sec, am I right? 8)
So what is the the next big thing in rendering graphics?
Is there a successor to polygon?
What ever happened to NURBs?
Will we see games made up of either Raytracing or using Renderman techniques to do games?
Now that we have been introduced to all three Next Gen Systems (PS2.NGC/Xbox) and thier spec. When do you thing Sony will start the Hype machine for the PS4 and wh do you think the Generation After Next (PS4/Nintendo/XBox 1080?) will rollout?
Or other word How long will this Next Gen System...
Okaaaaayyyy...... :?: :?: :?:
So are we talking avg games running at 150-200 Million poly per sec or are we going to see games actually running at near 500 million poly p/sec????
Educate us not so technology smart please....
Right now the AMD 64 chips are kicking butt and taking names on the performance CPU front. Intel in the meanwhile have seems to have drop the ball by going for faster GHz instead of clock per cycle. I read that Intel is so far behind in architecture that it may take them up two years to be...
Speaking of XNA, it really going to change the way Programmers and Gamers think, develop and play or is it just another PR stunt for MS to make people believe in them? :?
With the XBox-2 coming out in 2005 and the PS3 coming out in 2006 I am guessing that the Next Console Wars After Next should start up in the year 2011 or 12. I figure, that Micro$oft will try to milk as much money out of the XBox-2 as possible. 8)
