    Devs that actually put the effort into it, especially on exclusive titles, seem to have no trouble hitting 1080p at good performance levels. I wouldn't use someone like Ubisoft as a barometer for what devs in general are capable of doing on the hardware.

    The Rift doesn't take up your entire field of vision. And yes, that's from personal experience. It's also about six or seven million pixels shy of being where it needs to be. A discussion for another place, methinks.

    Hmph. Face aside, look at the gear he's wearing.. no way in hell that's realtime. Especially for a CoD game. Kevin Spacey's in-game model is only a fraction as detailed as this.

    Aspect ratio is movies is done for different reasons than exist in games. "Artistic vision" is perhaps the only reason that applies to both.     Not surprising, but not a big deal, either. Face tracking is dead easy at this point, I'm far more interested in the apparently dynamic 3D effect, I can't even guess how that's even possible.
