I really dont like the fact that it automatically detects games. I have tons of them and even though the detection algorithm is very bad it seems a lot of games really slows down the GUI. It would be great if we had different views available. I would prefer one game per line. Ive only played...

I have this bug on my tablet. Hopefully the next big service pack will fix this. No idea whats causing it but its ignoring the settings. Tried the sign in options, power settings, screensaver settings etc.

Worked just fine in fifa 14. Even eyefinity worked great.

Just 16:9. 16:10 is kinda the same so I assume it only has tiny black borders. I have a 21:9 monitor myself.

Tried the PC demo. Still doesnt work properly on non 16:9 monitors. Deleted.

To be honest i cant seem to find VSR any more. I had it in beta but now its gone. I guess they disabled VSR completely for 21:9 monitors.

Cause they are annoying to find. :) All the links went to some marketing page about a new driver. FRTC would be more useful for dx9 games IMO. There arent many dx11 games with insanely huge framerates even after maxing everything.

I only tried FRTC in counterstrike GO and it doesnt seem to work. I capped it to 75 fps and i can see that the game is running over 200fps (using the Steams builtin FPS counter). Tested on r9 290 (win 8.1). VSR is also useless for 21:9 monitors. I can only see 16:9 resolutions.

I hate minimalistic GUIs. The reason why im using firefox is because i can still enable the old GUI. I have to use add ons now (classic theme restorer) and unpin a couple of dumb GUI elements (like that hamburger button) but at least it works. I can live without those few extra pixels on my big...

if the store version is the same as Origin version then this a problem with the game. It only works on 16:9 monitors. Everyone else has black bars. Or giant black bars as is the case on my 21:9 monitor.

Yup...its laggy as hell. I had vsync on so im not sure if turning it off helps. Didnt like the gameplay so im not going to try it again. The included level has the color palette of a Carmack game. To actually see anything while moving you have to turn of the motion blur (same as in every game...

Im playing LA Noire right now and i like it a lot. I like the combination of interrogating, searching for clues, boxing, driving, shooting and chasing people. The city is full of detail and the character animations are one of the best. I already played more than 15 hours and im still not bored...

I thought it meant that running two cores in one module achieves 90% of the performance compared to running only one core in a module. I could be completely wrong :)

They are probably expecting that NVidia is going to pay developers to use silly tessellation levels to make them look bad. We'll see how it works, when games that actually use a lot of tessellation appear.
