That's very sad to read. I was expecting for more advancements since the introduction of DX12 and the ray tracing mantra and 2 generation of processing nodes ahead, but reading that all IHV's are just turning a blind eye to those issues just blows a crater on my expectations for the next...
Maybe you shouldn't because some rely on SSR in combination with RT applying RT only for the areas where the SSR start to fail, you may get partially missing reflections like in some screenshots you posted.
@DegustatoR Don't you mean what Imagination did and Nvidia licensed? I was under the impression that allot of patents regarding RT implementations in HW are from Imagination.

NVidia's DPC problem still exists? its the main reason i avoid their products, every graphics card i bought from them eventually has that problem, maybe i'm unlucky but the seeing it still happening i doubt it was just bad luck.
Out of context much? He mentions it's good for the consumer, obviously. Just complains how last minute they changed it and the inconvenience that causes to GN and other media.
I didn't say the launch version had texture problems, actually the opposite some were more detailed of which they "optimised" (when raytracing was enabled) to increase performance while suffering in detail.
if i remember the initial release of the game had some better looking textures but after the "optimizations" for RTX performance they reduced roughness values with much less detail and just bland smooth and shiny, roads and cars were mostly noticeable.
I'v been using Vivaldi for a good while its basically the old Opera browser before it was sold out. The best UI and memory management more so compared to that abomination called OperaGX "for gamers".
Despite being chromium based as long as the tabs are grouped together having a mouse over the...
Btw the driver overhead on AMD could that be happening only on systems with AMD's CPU's and smart memory access enabled? Would make sense, any website tested it with on and off and see the cpu thread usage and performance impact?
