    AMD: R9xx Speculation

Computex really is a funny place. I've seen rumors change from one thing to another in the last few days. Yesterday was also funny with the rumors about the EVGA mainboard team (leaving to Sapphire etc). And yes, I can concur that there are some very persistant rumors floating around here...

    AMD: R8xx Speculation

Yes, but this wasn't really news was it? We have Lightnings running at about 1150-1175 with stock cooling (Twin Frozr II). Of course it helps that the cooling is pretty good, we use custom PCB with extra layers as well as add 15 phases PWM and added 2x 8 pins power connectors. :P But it...

    Excellent choice. ;)

    AMD: R8xx Speculation

It can run at 1.1Ghz on just the Twin Frozr II cooling which we put on it. ;) Using LN2 we've already seen it reach 1450Mhz.

    AMD: R8xx Speculation

We will be releasing this sooner than you think. :) And this is not the only Evergreen card to be given the 'special' treatment by us.

    Clarkdale IGP benchmark

Don't forget there's even a much faster version at 900Mhz. Anandtech explained nicely what changed in the graphics core of Clarkdale: http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/showdoc.aspx?i=3648&p=6

    AMD: R8xx Speculation

I can't really comment about unannounced products, but I can tell you Lightning is a brand made for overclockers by overclockers.

    Not "just" overclocked. ;)

    ELSA hints GT206 and GT212

310 is OEM only afaik. So you won't see this as a retailcard. But yeah, their naming scheme is just... confusing.

    LucidLogix Hydra, madness?

I've been playing with Trinergy and Fuzion this week. Fuzion with the Hydra chip looks promising.

    ELSA hints GT206 and GT212

Officially confirmed... no.... since these companies never talk about unannounced/unreleased products. But the correct specs have been spotted on roadmaps before and even posted on some sites like Hardware Infos. And before you ask... yes those specs on that site are correct.

    ELSA hints GT206 and GT212

    GT212 had 384 SPs.

    LucidLogix Hydra, madness?

The Lucid Hydra board is still very much in play. Lucid is optimizing the driver for Windows 7 so that it works stable and in all configurations. As you can probably understand, the mix 'n match concept is an awesome idea, but MSI wants to deliver a product of high quality and especially one...

    LucidLogix Hydra, madness?

Lol. That piece made me chuckle. Charlie has been right about VGA a lot lately, but when it comes to this... it just came from a place where the sun doesn't shine... A lot of speculation and pretty much off too... Trinergy exists. We've had an early Trinergy engineering sample in the office...
