    Call of Duty: Ghost (Consoles)

I've been in the process of deciding which FPS to get launch day for the PS4. The obvious choice at first would seem to be Killzone, but I'm not sold on it yet. Ghosts seems like it will be more fun with more diverse locations. I could get both, but I want to avoid getting a bunch of similar...

A typical family sits together near the middle of the screen. For years Plasma had the best off-angle viewing...people could care less. If you have a decent surround speaker set for audio people want to be in the middle for the speakers to have their optimum effect. A standard real IMAX...

HDMI 2.0 supports 21:9 Aspect Ratio Display manufactures have already begun making curved 16:9 OLED TVs. The next logical step is 21:9 curved. This is a big win for console gamers. A surround display that will allow for a wide FOV (field of view) in first person shooters. Also a huge win...

News & Rumours: Playstation 4/ Orbis *spin*

Sony is in good position to match Oculus Rift. Although frame rate will be a challenge. Carmack has already been talking about 120hz (240 stereoscopic frames). What Sony should do is create a more powerful GPU version of the PS4 to allow for increased frame rates for stereoscopic gaming...

Business Approach Comparison Sony PS4 and Microsoft Xbox

As far as I'm aware on the PS3 version of Netflix it is possible to watch hi-qualty content on a slow connection. The PS3 Netflix app uses the hard drive as cache if needed. Some users will opt to stream at their bandwidth and accept the quality level.

Business Approach Comparison Sony PS4 and Microsoft Xbox

If a person wants to watch a movie stream at 1080p full quality from Net Flix that requires a monster amount of bandwidth. The highest quality tier (any quality tier actually) can be cached onto the console I think...just leave the console on with Net Flix open and data will cache. If this is...

Business Approach Comparison Sony PS4 and Microsoft Xbox

That is distorted way of looking at it. A single game versus a massive library of movies & TV shows. If Gamestop and used game sales are what many console owners are engaged in, that would inflate the relevance of net flix. Joe Six-pack buys a game then 2 weeks latter trades it in and...

John Carmack talks next gen consoles at Quakecon 2013 keynote

Digital Only sounds too bold to me. In 5 years people are still going go out to supermarket to buy food and to salons for haircuts. Digital downloads will have increasing role but physical still will have a major presence.
