But honestly which one would you prefer printf , scanf or cin , cout
But I think you are right about my lecturer main intention of teaching us C first rather than c++. Is like teaching me addition first before showing me how to multiply.
MS AntiSpyware is simply Giant's product rebranded at this point. It has received excellent reviews, and justly so.
Keep using inferior tools if you like, all reason notwithstanding.
No, use MS AntiSpyware. Leave it installed and let it auto-scan and auto-update to avoid getting infected in the first place.

Well, WINE is the freeware emulator and it's not intended for running 3d games.
What you mean is WineX (now called Cedega), which is based on a monthly subscription. You can run a few games with it; but the performance hit is very noticeable. There's a compatibility list online...
rebooting
I had same prob....tried multiple HDD's... finally was M-Board...was fried bad capacitor. I could use the Bios but there is a pwr drain in the OS load and with a bad capacitor it will reboot again and again or just shut down depending on the capacitor.
Good Luck
Does anybody know a collection of Applications that have their 64bit equivalents yet ?
Doesn't matter weather beta or final. I'd just like to have a resource where I can find stuff that really takes advantage of the new instructions/architecture ( dono, me dau )
