Xbox Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate now Includes EA Play! [XGP, GamePass]

Sarah bond just did an interview with Spawn on me (link below). Nothing too crazy but some neat anecdotes.
She said her favourite anecdote about gamepass is that of all the people who had never played a puzzle game before, after playing a specific puzzle game (I didn't catch which one), 43% of them went on to purchase, not just play on gamepass, another puzzle game.

I need closure on that anecdote!

It’s Human Fall Flat. Game Pass talk at ~21:00, puzzle game talk ~22:10.

Ergh, that game made we want to throw my controller at the screen- my old brain couldn’t take it. I do enjoy hyper dot though - that’s a good little game I wouldn’t have played if it wasn’t for GP (yes, I finally found one!).
Anyone who likes hyper dot should check out Minutes (Vita/PS4 - unsure if it’s on anything else).

I've read around that you can convert gold to ultimate, and instead of converting the value of the remaining months, it just converts x months of gold to x months of ultimate.
Is this an urban legend? a troll? a bug? an early christmas gift?

Its genuine. The steps have always been as follows:
  1. Not have any active Game Pass subscriptions
  2. Load up on Xbox Live Gold for 3 years
  3. Redeem 1 month of Game Pass Ultimate and let it convert
  4. Rejoice at your now 36 months of Game Pass Ultimate post conversion

How does Among Us work on consoles? Voice only?

No. It's a PC only title, but I included it in the details as I didn't feel like posting in the Game Pass PC thread and it's still a plus for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.

Ah yes, I see the list details now, thanks.

Damn, got excited for a second when I saw Code Vein, but that's consoles and not PC. ARGH! :)

BTW - for console people that haven't had a chance to try Beholder, it's a fascinating dystopian management game set in a fictitious world that's reminiscent of the old Soviet Union.

It's a great little indie gem, IMO.

Regards,
SB

It was released on Switch yesterday! A bargain at £3.89 on the UK eStore, but it will destroy friendships forever!

Just my opinion, but if it does, it won't be the Ubisoft+ Tier that includes Day 0 title releases. It'll be more like the EA Play tier where you get the older games and perhaps a discount on the newer games and DLCs.
