Blurbs and Rumors:
- PlayStation 4 game announcements a key point of TGS 2014, Yoshida says
New PlayStation 4 game announcements will be a key point of next month’s Tokyo Game Show in Chiba, Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida said.

Speaking to Famitsu, Yoshida discussed the theme of this year’s Gamescom press conference, games held from the conference, and more.
- No Last Guardian *sigh*
Sony Worldwide Studio Boss Shuhei Yoshida has already confirmed that The Last Guardian won't make an appearance at upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2014. This means players now have their hopes pinned down on next year's E3 i.e. E3 2015.
- Ninja Gaiden 4 and Dead or Alive 6
In a report by VG 24/7, TECMO and Ninja Theory have confirmed that they are working on making next-gen games at the moment and those games could be Ninja Gaiden 4 and Dead or Alive 6.

In the report by VG 24/7, Yosuke Hayashi of Team Ninja has confirmed that they are working on a PS4 game:

"We're developing a PlayStation 4 title internally, so please look forward to future updates," he said.
VG 24/7 then noted that:

"Although Hayashi only mentioned PS4, this may be because he was speaking to Japanese press; most major Tecmo Koei releases intended for western launch are also released on Microsoft platforms, which have almost no foothold in Japan."
- Microsoft will not have conference at the Tokyo Game Show 2014 (Google Translated)

With less than a month to the start of the Tokyo Game Show, Microsoft will have to put all eggs in one basket and prepare for the launch of Xbox in Japan One.

The console comes out in Japan on September 4 and the event starts on 18th of that month.

Phil Spencer, the head of the division of entretenimento of Microsoft, has confirmed in his account Twitter which will be at the Tokyo Game Show this year but the company will not make the usual conference that teaches their news.

Yes, however, the company is expected to make a what-is-not event know to teach your games and media professionals.

Kudos to Microsoft for actually doing a Press Conference.

Now.. predictions on what seemingly-clever-but-in-hindsight-dumbass-thing (SCBIHDT) Microsoft will do or say at this event? :runaway:

No MS Press Conference as of now.

No Last Guardian... after 5 years I have no emotions left for this, I feel nothing. :???:

No kudos for Microsoft. In fact bad Microsoft, BAD! :yep2:

Which is somewhat weird, given the scope of TGS and XB1 launching in Japan soon. Maybe a few key speeches/notes on swaying gamers on Sony's/Nintendo's turf. Oh well...

I've got my fingers crossed for a "Oh, there's one more thing we wanna show you..." at the end of their conf, we'll see I guess.

The Last Guardian for Morpheus -- zing!
living in that awesome world in morpheus, interacting with dog/bird monster using ps move... aww
