Msoft XBox One SoC has 47 MBytes cache in 363mm2 die at #hotchips

All i can see is "204GB/sec peak" bottom center

47 MByte of caches is a lot. It doesn't add up from what we know: 32 Mb eSRAM+ 4 Mbyte CPUs ... 11 MBytes for the GPU alone seems a lot.

47 MBytes cache of cache? 32MB Esram + 4 MB CPU L2's + ??? . I doubt all the L1's amount to more than 1MB.

How much sram a modern GPU/CPU has?
Counting not just L2, L1 + registers?

How much redundancy has AMD built?

Audio block could have it's own dedicated memory as well, but still, not megabytes worth.

They maybe counting some redundancy memory.

You beat me to this :)

To me it looks like the 4 blocks underneath say 8 MB. I'm guessing the ESRAM is split into 4 banks like that.

It seems to say 8mb in each block.
So the digital foundry rumor had some truth after it after all.
But from what i remembered df was talking about a max of 192Gb/s.

Found an tweet on gaf.
XBox One CPU has eight "modified" AMD Jaguar x86-64 cores, in two clusters of four cores. Modifiations to memory sharing & bandwidth. #HC25
