XGI Volari XP5 for desktop PC?

Hello!
I've bought 2 of these nice cards on ebay:

It's a XGI Volari XP5, a notebook chip.
I don't know if those cards are prototypes or a special ones for something like a terminal computer.

I've found out that the XP5 is the same chip as the V3, but it has only 32MB DDR memory and not the same type like the V3.
The layout looks very much more like the V5 or the V8.

There is also a "Dip" switch panel on it and a unused Fan-connector, like on a prototype, but on the other hand it has a driver disc included.

Does anybody know this card?

Very nice, can't say I've seen that particular board before.

Certainly not a prototype, probably just an odd pc board by a particular manufacturer. :)

What manufacturer is it? What does the device info say?

If you can give me a dual AGP Motherboard?

I've made a "Buy it now" offer and he gave me a second one for free.
He said that it is a "last remainder", but I don't know from where.

Great ... you got hold of a development board. It even has a LVDS output for testing.
XP5/V3 is one of the last chipsets Trident ever made.
Trident TVGA8900, my first videocard ... the times i had with it. :p
The XP5 was actually used in a couple Toshiba notebooks.

And the second one is still sealed:!::

Sorry for the bad quality, but I've had only a mobile phone cam available

EDIT: I've tested the first card: It works and it has 64MB Ram!

Nope, he don't answers.
And he doesn't seems to have any knowledge anyway.

But those chips were used for Dell and Toshiba Notebooks, so they were probably thrown out some old warehouses.

Btw: The first card is from 38. week 04 and the second one from 47. week 04.
