Default does the iceq rad 9800pro fit on the asus a7n8x deluxe mobo?

im gonna buy it this week. however i heard a rumour that theres a transistor in the way on the asus that blocks the back part of the fan switch on the iceq (its the one with the huge fan)

just to clarify this is the card

it'd really help if someone with this mobo and gfx card setup could reply cus then i can be sure.

Hi there hugekebab, if you are going to be buying that card for the Artic VGA cooler then you can get the same result and spend a whole less money.

You can get a Radeon 9800 Pro for about £135 and the Artic Cooler separately for about £10. It does mean fitting it yourself but it is not that hard to do.

As for fitting the motherboard my mates A7n8x-E Deluxe has no problems with it on a 9500/9700 modded.

Yes it does if you do not return a faulty card in the original condition you bought it in...
