Default Sony's official future plans

Here are some interesting pictures from a press event held by Sony in Korea showing some highly interesting plans not yet revealed in the west.

If judging from that second slide, the John Travolta pose seems to be very 'in' with the on-line dancing game crowd!

No, seriously, I can't be very excited about dancing games across the internet or wirelessly between servers and PSP and sh!t like that. Give me a FPS where the eyetoy recognizes where I'm aiming my gun or such, that's about one million times more intriguing.

Is there anything additional said on these slides? I don't read Korean.

Anyone who knows enough Korean to translate those slides?

Hehehe. I was just jokign a bit. He's actually rather smart. Edit: Those plans could be for later this year. That would explain the absense of the PS3.

We shouldn't judge Deadmeat, all we should do is take everything he says as a constant joke. That does seem to be what he is trying to do.

Let's get this back on topic(Though I admit his one-liner was hilarious)

Seems as though Sony still plans on having Wifi in PSP despite the recent rumours.

I think going without WiFi wouldn't hurt it all that much, really. It'd be nice though. :D

Connecting EyeToy to their online-plans is quite smart. EyeToy is the magic key to a new market: non-gamer or better gamer, that don't know, that they are gamer. I was shocked to see how well EyeToy was accepted by that crowd. People (workmates, friend's friends, etc) around me, that never owned a console bought a PS2 just for EyeToy ... it's just a matter of time to get them hooked, the boyfriend want the online-connection for GT4, Socom2, KillZone or CoN; the girlfriend likes TV shows like American Idol and wants to dance with her friends via EyeToy, that would be more people online than just the hardcore gamers, that are usually targeted by online-gaming. Getting people online is a hell of a job, IMHO this might work.

EyeToy is cool, I'm supposed to write support for it next week :P

That's SCEK DM.
Not to say SCEK doesn't care about PS3, but that's a topic that will have to wait.

Has he ever said what company he works for? I've been lurking for months and I haven't seen a mention of it at all.

Fafalada is working on a racing game called Axel Impact, developed by the korean company/team called Axel Entertainment. The game was already released in Korea and is in post production for a international release. This info is quite known, here at Beyond3D.

If somebody tries to be a negative smart-ass in every single post he makes, and if that is the only aspect of his personality that I ever will know (as chances of meeting him in person are slim) that might as well be the only relevant aspect of him for me to judge him on. I honestly don't care if Deadmeat has ten children or if he's the best father in the world, if that is the facet of his personality he will never uncover. People on the internet are judged on what part of their personality they choose to open to that part of the world, not on some imaginary values they might or might not posses.

Btw, that one-liner might have been funny if it's jist wasn't exactly like that of every other post he ever made, and it gets old - fast.

Feel Free to share anything you got . What for are you going to use Eyetoy? If you can't disclose that, just explain what basic algorithm you're working on...
