Finally a Biohazard on GC that supports 480p and wide screen.

Here are those pictures plus some more but much clearer:
Re4 Scans Edit: No more need for imagestation; I found another source. Pretty darn impressive... its good to finally see the cube's potential being exploited. Too many recent games have been outdone by launch titles for my liking. It also looks a lot more "active" than ReMake at least (I haven't played the others). There is more variety in action and locales. |

Haven't played a RE in ages, i'd love to play one again, and this looks ace. Although the controls are pre-historic, RE games were always lots of fun...

let me intervene with some better looking scans
*Edit* sorry Bohdy didnt see your link. "Apparently the "Tank" controls are still there . Otherwise this game looks promising. It looks different and the story sounds pretty cool, a real departure from the rest of the series." do you know what RE controls are like from a non fixed camera angle.. metroid prime. ![]() PS2 will NEVER be able to handle that, those textures as gorgeous. |

I am stunted! I was sooo tired of BioHazard/ResidentEvil, that I even skipped Zero, but my gosh, if the gameplay somewhat lives up to those visuals ... I'll come home *pettinggamecube*
BTW ... best in-game cow ever

What's that light? An angel? It is a sign from above... And by the way... no surehow PS2 will NEVER be able to handle that... I mean apart from the textures, i don't think there's anything over the top there. The art is what strikes people the most i guess...

I can understand that you people are hyped like crazy, but honestly the ps2 can handle these textures very well. Look at CoN(beutiful textures and bump mapping). Plus i dont think you have seen the new 3 mint sh4 trailer if you think ps2 cant handle this. Trust me sh4 is as good and maybe even better.

if you think SH4 has textures or detailed locations even close to that, your either very blind, or very dumb.(not name calling, you can make that choice)

lol its very obvious that it . RE4's textures arent exactly revolutionary. Look at the scanns again cause i dont think you noticed that there are enough blurry textures there.

Look at the lighting though.. is that selfshadowing on that troll?
I'm not exactly sure why people think the controls haven't changed. The entire perspective is different. Sounds to me like it controls like goldeney default controls, or metroid prime. The views are first person and semi first person views.

http://www.jeux-france.com/Webmaster...4449_6_big.jpg I may just be a retard.. but it looks like he is casting shadows on himself.. look at his head on his right arm for example.

His right knee does seem like it might be doing SS, but until we get some bigger pics I think I'll stick with 'no'

From GI's information, the controls will be ala metroid prime, without the lock on. Likely not able to move at the sametime you shoot, same analog stick to move and fire so there's probably a trigger you press to aim your gun.
PS2 simply couldnt do RE4 as a whole, its one thing recreating a scene with the same textures, its another thing to have a city thats wide open and without door/stair transition loadings every rooms ala past REs and silent hill. Its hard to judge the poor scans though but once we see it in motion, i dont think there will be doubts This RE will be nuts imo, a village thats infected by the virus, but they're still quite "human" as you arrive, it will be quite a hunt GI transcript Quote:

It may be stil early to judge this since the pictures are so crap... but I swear Half Life 2 may now has a competitor in the visuals department
