Here is an nice notebook / tablePC / TFT-PC solution :

Maybe a "little" bit slow for (3D) games, but otherwise really nice.

Based on the nextgen nForce chipset this computer would really be something I want.

What I want for my next notebook is:
- Very rugidized (all aluminiun/titanium and shock proof)
- Lightweight (below 2Kg)
- Small (12" high quality/low latency TFT display)
- thin
- 256MB memory
- good cpu and graphics (DDR level performance)
- Internal psu, cd-rom, 3.5" disc, modem, sound, lan, usb, firewire
- Integrated compactflash card adapter
- 1 PCMCIA slot
- great autonomy
- sub $1000 8)

Rugidized, small and lightweight are the most important for me now.

**drool**

I'm usually a little leary of ECS, but that looks very very nice. That would be an ideal travel computer, I think. You could carry it in a backpack, and then set it up like a desktop in the hotel.

I find that Age of Empires II holds my attention longer than most FPS, so to me the LCD wouldn't be too bad. Besides, it's motion blur for free. Who needs a T-Buffer?
