AMD are about to post a loss.
VIA were once rumoured to be thinking about snaffling up said firm. INTEL has publicly stated that they are more worried about VIA than AMD. nVidia may be about to fall from grace and the top of the heap. And history has shown that GFX companies who fall from grace fall hard and fast and nVidia has a long way to fall. Imagine if... VIA bought AMD and brought their rather vast resources into the mainstream CPU market. They then absorbed nVidia and did the same trick on the mainstream GFX market. What would the future hold?
