i bought it "used" off ebay and the stock fan isn't in good shape anymore. its a PNY card. i was wondering if anyone could give me advice on what to do now..and what to buy. i've done some research already but i just wanna ask experts, hehe, thanks.

If you could find an aftermarket replacement fan or an original, i'd recommend you keep it. It is good enough to tide you over till R420 and NV40 based cards come out.

oh yah im keeping the card hehe. i was just wondering what kind of fan i should buy. but i think i know what i'm gonna get ---> http://www.thermaltake.com/coolers/chipset/a1394.htm is that any good?
