Default Weslley Clark for president in 2004

Contrary to many here, I'm not anti-Bush and though I don't completly agree with most of it's policies (I don't agree with most politiciens, anyway), I happen to find him to be an okay president, who did try to do what he said he would do before he got elected, while handling the 911 crisis quite well.

But until now, I didn't think there was any good candidate to run against him, but now there's Clark and I like that guy. IMO, he would make a pretty good president, I think the 2004 election looks to be interesting...

He sounds good so far--a commander of a successful American operation doing nation building.

But I have no idea about the real Wesley Clarke. He might be a nutter for all I know. It particularly frightens me that Micheal Moore has endorsed him, but that might be Moore realising that there's nobody else in the Democrat contenders that has a chance of engaging the centrists.

We'll see who and what he is as time goes on in the Democrat candidate runup to the primaries.

I've seen him quite a bit over the years in interviews of all sort, and if that guy is a "nut", then I can't imagine what G.W. Bush must be

Anyway, the Democrats need a good candidate if they want to win, and this is by far the best I've seen. I think there's still a lot of fat that need to be trimmed by the republicans before getting out of the white house, but currently they are just increasing expenses too much, so maybe it's time to go after only 4 years. We'll see...

A few people railed against Clark here saying he had sought promotions undeserved and in odd fashion... That he was more master of office politics than anything of worth.

Im looking for links to that...

bah I hope Nader runs again...

Well since most peope say he has no experience as a politician, I guess office politics counts for something . I am happy to see someone that was recently in the military running as a democrat. Simply because to often military people are all ascribed to being republicans. I wonder what rush has to say about it, I bet Joe knows

Imo Clark is the only Dem who can beat Bush. Dean is too liberal, Kerry is too Massachusetts and too "French", Edwards is too lightweight pretty-boy. Lieberman would stand a chance if he could get the Democratic nomination, which he won't, and if he was Protestant, which is unfortunate. Clark is the only one with all the pieces: Distinguised military service + brains + charisma. If his policies weren't all Socialist, I'd vote for him. Too bad he's not a Libertarian.
