I played the 360 demo yesterday and it looked blurry (maybe FXAA is the cause of that), black boarders are bigger than I thought with Just Scan on and the tearing is really bad at 1080p but things are definitely better at 720p - same bug with previous MT Framework games? Pretty disappointing looking game IQ-wise IMO considering previous games on the same engine were very good on that aspect.

New Tekken Tag Tournament 2 screenshots:
http://www.computerandvideogames.com...2-screenshots/

I'm not liking the graphics, so far. Blurry and... weird, don't know why (well, at least I'm sure vertical resolution has something to do with it, besides the compression for these screenshots).

PLUS, Jun is looking ugly as funk! :-S

EDIT: after a fast pixel counting, resolution looks (almost?) native. Aaaand what happens to self-shadowind? You can barely spot it. Characters look like plastic figurines lit by both sides, with no apparent shadows cast over them. Do you remember if this happened in Tekken 6 and if it looked better in motion?

Well, these images aren't really analysis-worthy unless the game is truly upscaled to 576p.

EDIT: Wha... I got confused, here. I thought you saw the full resolution images from the beginning.

Well, the full screen images are 1024x576 (or 575, 578 etc), so... *shrug* I'll wait for proper 720p captures that aren't doctored so much.

Just a few posts ago I said "Tekken Tag Tournament 2", but yep, the "big guy" in your picture could be Ogre's cousin or something.

Think that is for the console version. Anyone know why the team is struggling getting the resolution up? Where soul caliber and DOA5 manage 720p @60 fps just fine and DOA will probably have tag mode with 4 characters on screen. Not to mention the character models in DOA5 looks much better. Is it because of the character customization or there iss something to do with the way tekken works?

i heard hybrid is 1280x720 @ 60fps and looks like fxaa. also one of the better implementations of it i've seen on consoles details seem better intact and aliasing is very minimal.

Might have been downscaled from 1600x900.

This is a really bad screenshot...the game looks nothing like this blurry, jaggy mess.

From what I've played (played the 360 version on a friend's house) the game looked very sharp and the jaggies were nowhere near this level.

My guess is 720p with some sort of PPAA (FXAA?) which works quite well and does not compromise IQ clarity.

What's up with the black bar and 1080p? Why not just capture @ 720p?

Those look native. The edge AA does seem remniscient of FXAA.

i like how they slipped the aa before the UI so they're not messed up like they are in ghost recon.

I was wondering if someone (Al in particular ) could somehow annalyze GTAV trailer resolution. These are the best screenshots taken from trailer (almost 3 thousand of them). So...if its possible somehow...

Looks native... just remove the black bars for the actual res. That's some pretty heavy blur they've got there too.

Does anyone know if DOA5 on consoles are native res? I've heard rumors of 360 demo running different res than Ps3's demo.

Anyone here who would be able to figure out the native rendering resolution and AA of the "Spec Ops: The Line" PS3 Demo and Xbox 360 Demo from what seems to be shown there:

?

The PS3 version looks like it may be 1120x630. The 360 version might be 1216x680 or thereabouts. Really need longer edges, but the blurring isn't helping either. Close enough.
