'Pascal' from our forums has started a Beyond3D Folding@Home Team, called "Beyond3D_Team". If you are not familiar with the Folding@Home concept and what it aims to achieve here's a quick synopsis:

Proteins are "nanomachines" that assemble themselves (or fold) before carrying out their biochemical functions. The process of protein folding, critical to virtually all of biology, remains a mystery. Many well known diseases are result of protein "misfold".

Folding@Home is a distributed computing project using novel computational methods which studies protein folding, misfolding, aggregation, and related diseases. You can help the project by downloading and running the client software. It use the free time of your CPU with no perceptible impact.

To Join Beyond3D_Team Folding@Home just download the client software and input our team number 32377 during the installation. For those that are already Folding@Home, you can always change you teams to join Beyond3D_Team!

If any of you have any questions, maybe start a gauntlet or just want to shoot the breeze, head over to the [H] DC forums.
There is a bunch of very knowlegable people there that are more than happy to help out fellow folders (team [H] or no).
We will not relinguish the top spot but we'll help you gain some steam
