Downloaded the DOSBox source, compiled it and gave it a whirl on some older games.
Guess what? Performance is perfect as opposed to DoxBox on Windows. I'm running under 64-bit Linux as well. What irony.

Umm, I think your thread title is misleading unless you really ran Windows games in DOSBox which I think is not possible.

To add some fuel to the fire:
The renderer that I use is windows only: it runs faster under wine in linux, than natively in windows. Same hardware. Same everything. |
