Default I just got Gainwards FX 5800 Ultra...

Well, sadly enough the card seems to be broken.
It scores way less than Ti4600 in almost all tests except 3dmark03.
So I sent it back a few minutes ago. (I'm getting a new sample as soon as it arrives though.)

But in any case, a comment on the "silent" cooling..
In 3D speeds the card makes a _load_ of noise.
It also gets VERY hot (the highest temp I measured was 75 c). I burnt myself pretty bad on the back of the heatsink. Had to run some water over my fingers for a minute. (No, that's not a joke.)

Unlike some people speculate the fan does run in 2D mode too. (I heard some rumors about the fan shutting down completely in 2D mode.) The noise in 2D mode is very quite though, less than most "ordinary" videocards.

The game bundle is crap (only Duke Nuke Em Manhattan Project) but it comes with a decent 5.1 C-Media soundcard and a firewire card, headphones and some other stuff.

Well, in case anyone's intrerested that is.

Hmm, well at least that's a sign they are releasing it in our part of the world When It's Done, Dammit! soon. 8)

I'm just left wondering who wouldn't want to wait a couple of months for the NV35 at this absurd point in time.

Heh, intet relateret til 3D overhovedet. Jeg løb engang til Sverige (via Øresundsbroen - fin tur) og skal til maj på golf-ferie med nogle gutter hos jer! 8)

Apparantly it depends on the vendor...
The model I saw from MSI was turning off its fan in 2D mode.
