Clearing inventory to make way for the replacement SKU?

Why have a clearance sale for the HD-DVD drive unless the next model has it built in?

Maybe this means nothing at all. But those seem to be pretty deep price cuts.

I was able to snag a controller and some usb drives

There were a few hundred people waiting in line when I got to the store, reminded me of Black Friday. Too bad only one controller per customer

No limit on the number of controllers at the Marietta, GA Microcenter. Most of the people were too busy buying a 32 hdtv for $399 to worry about the controllers.
