There's a contradiction in that article.
The text says:

How can a DX9, Geforce 7300 base be DX10-ready ?

Besides, the accompanying table clearly states MCP79 as belonging to the Geforce 8-class family.

Maybe they're making that popular leap from "Vista Whatever" to "DX10".

No, it means that the chipset is mostly the same as MCP73, but the graphics core is based on G80 instead of G70. Both are different chips and products, obviously. Now, to know whether MCP73 and MCP67 have 2 or 4 pipelines, hmm...
